Samsung introduced world’s first solar powered mobile phone namely the Guru E1107, the eleventh model from Guru Series in India. Users can have five to ten minutes of talk time out of an hours’ worth of sunlight. However, the socket charging stuff can not be avoided completely as this solar energy can be used only when you’re out and have no access to electricity power. This phone is aimed to target the rural areas where the electricity is not guaranteed.
Samsung Guru E1107 is an upgrade version of the Samsung E1100 with additional FM Radio feature. It supports dual GSM bands (900/1800MHz) and includes a 1.52-inches 65K CSTN screen, integrated torch, a Mobile Tracker and 800mAh battery supporting all the samsung accessories.
The phone will soon be available in Europe,Latin America, and Asia shortly also in Indonesia guys!
